How to Redeem a Roblox Gift Card

When the card is in hand, or the store email has arrived, redeeming is a short browser task. Do it with a parent, on the account that should keep the value. Credit cannot be moved to a different account later.

1. A parent buys the card at a known store, or completes a digital purchase on that retailer’s own site. Save the receipt.
2. Check the pack. It should be sealed, and the code should still be covered. For email delivery, confirm the sender is the store, then reveal the code only when you are ready to type it.
3. On a computer, or in the browser on a phone, go to the redeem page on roblox.com. The Roblox mobile app cannot take gift cards, and neither can a console.
4. Sign in to the correct account. If more than one person shares a device, double-check the username first.
5. Enter the code in the box. If it fails, look again for mix-ups such as a zero and the letter O. Roblox lists those look-alike characters in its help article.
6. Submit it. A success note means the credit, or the Robux printed on a marked card, was added by Roblox.
7. If you are hunting the virtual item, open Roblox’s gift card page while signed in. Roblox explains that the item shows as owned when it reached that account. A second card the same month may not repeat it.
