How to Equip Emotes on the Wheel

Equipping an emote is a catalog step, then an avatar step, then a button during play. Do the first two on your own account. Let a parent decide on anything that spends Robux.

Equip a Move and Play It

1. Enter the account you play on, whether that is the website or the installed application, and confirm the name.
2. Open the Marketplace and go to emotes. You can browse the category or search for a move by name, such as a wave or a dance.
3. Open the item. Take it when the listing says there is no charge. When Robux is required, ask a parent before you continue. The figure on that page is the real one.
4. Open the Avatar editor and equip the emotes you want in your menu. The menu only fits a limited set, so choose a few you will use, like a hello and a cheer.
5. Join an experience. Open the emote menu, often shown as a wheel or a list, and pick the move. If the menu is missing, that game may have turned emotes off.
6. On a computer, a basic move can also be typed in chat, such as the wave or cheer commands listed in Roblox’s help, but only when chat is switched on. The menu is the simpler path, especially if chat is limited.
7. Use the move once, watch how people respond, and stop if anyone asks. You can change your equipped set later without buying anything new.
